Palm Springs Vacation- the much needed calm after the Disneyland storm

We spent a nice and relaxing Thanksgiving in Palm Springs. The kids loved every minute there, and Paul thoroughly enjoyed a break from the fast paced Disney life.

We had a delicious holiday dinner at the club and felt very spoiled.

Shirley Temples galore!

Paris fell in love with the ladies restroom at the club.Posing on the rocks at The River.
Paris loved every corner of Omi's house and the kids started many clubs... in the closets, out on the patios, in their rooms. The options were endless.

Alex and his Pirates of Carribean toys in the hot tub.

Here is Paul sound asleep on the float.

Mason loved everything about Omi's house, especially this little tree... he only wished Omi was there with us.

The men in the hot tub.

Here are the kids on a camel ride at The Living Desert.

Here was our main mode of transportation- on Omi's golf cart. We all fit perfectly... the boys sat where two set of clubs usually fit and Paris sat in the middle of Paul and I.

Enjoying one of our many meals at the Oasis- just a golf cart ride away from Omi's house.

Here's Alex pretending to be in charge.

Drawing out by the pool.

Disneyland Vacation

We headed out for Anaheim bright and early last Saturday.

As soon as we walked into the lobby of the hotel, Goofy walked up and the kids were thrilled.

The kids swam each day- thankfully the water was very warm b/c the outside temp. was not.

The real Goofy showed up.
First morning at the park was very rainy, which turned out to be a blessing... no lines at all for about 6 hours.

Disneyland was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Seeing and touring through the castle and meeting princesses were the highlights of the trip for Paris.

Entering Buzz Lightyear

Watching a princess ceremony with Aurora, Cinderella and Snow White

Snow White and Paris!

Posing out front

The castle at night right before the fireworks show.

A gigantic X-mas tree in Downtown Disney. You barely notice the kids standing in front of it.

In jail in Mickey's Toontown.

Checking out Minnie's House.

Tarzan's treehouse, which was one of Mason's favorite spots.

Here we are at California Adventure- we all rode Mickey's giant ferris wheel in the background.

Dinner at Goofy's Kitchen was so much fun for the kids. They met character after character and were more excited then I could have ever imagined.

The kids helped Goofy "bake"a cake. Mason wanted to follow Goofy everywhere.
Christmas decorations in It's a Small World.

Thanks to Fastpass we went on Autotopia a million times with no wait.

Finally about to get on the Toy Story ride at CA Adventure. This was the only line we waited in and it took 1.5 hours... thankfully the ride was awesome.

Paris turned 8 today!!!

First thing this morning- blueberry muffin and presents.

Showing off her new homemade headband from Aunt Annie and her fashion glasses.

Then, after school, off to "Chow Bella" for her cooking party.

The kids made their own pizzas from scratch.

Silly faces in the kitchen while waiting to eat pizza.

All the kids decorated their own cupcakes...

then added them to the cupcake stand for an impressive work of art.
