Paris is turning 7!!!

We celebrated Paris' 7th Birthday today - here she is before school opening "only one" present.
We had a Hula themed party- here are a few girls with Miss Casey- the hula teacher

Getting in the swing of things. The girls learned an entire hula dance, then performed it for their parents when they got picked up.

They painted bracelets, got their nails done and Miss Casey did a hair wrap for each girl.

Mason joined in for painting, but was not up for learning to hula :)

You can see Paris' hair wrap really well in this picture.

Omi's present, which is always Paris' favorite to open, was magically delivered by UPS during the party.

Happy Halloween!

Carving our pumpkins yesterday-

The skeleton zombie, angel and knight in shining armour.
We always meet up with Jennifer and Patrick for trick or treating at Broadway Plaza, before hitting our neighborhood.

The kids counted, sorted and traded candy until 9pm- hope they sleep in tomorrow.

Fun Weekend with Uncle Mike.

Mike flew in to see the Stanford football game this weekend. Here he is with Mason, whose new obsession is dribbling basketballs.Practicing soccer with Paris in the driveway.
Beautiful sunset... after eating dinner at Yan Can.

Throwing the football with Alex at Paris' soccer game.
Here she is in action. The practice with Uncle Mike paid off- Paris scored 4 goals in the game!

The Big Man turned 5 today!!

Here's the proof-A very proud moment- here's Alex opening up his razor spark scooter (Thanks to Omi).... His exact words after seeing it were "I've been wanting this for 8 years." Pretty funny since he just turned 5.

And here it is in action- notice the sparks flying out of the back- it is a pretty impressive piece of machinery.

Alex and his extreme sport cake.

Alex's b-day party on Sunday.

Getting ready to blow out the candles.
In the big foam pit.
Here's a quick video of the spark scooter in action.

We spent Sunday out on the bay on Robert's (Evangelina's boyfriend) boat.

Here we are going under the bay bridge.

The boys were taking a break inside with Robert's granddaughter.

We got very close to some cute sea lions.

We boated right along San Francisco, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge.

The blue angels were performing right above us- it was quite a show...

...and extremely noisy at times.

Stanford 24 UCLA 16

We took the family to the Stanford game on Saturday. They were totally low maintenance and let us watch the game with little interruption. We plan to take them to all the remaining home games. NOT ...

Congratulating a very happy Bo after the game!!

Paris (who was very well-behaved at the game and will be invited back :) ) danced with this streamer the whole way back to the car. Here is a quick Halloween preview of Paris as an angel.

Picture day for Mason and celebrating Roman's 18th Birthday.

Notice the fancy upper half and casual lower half.

Singing Happy Birthday to big brother, Roman.

Roman and Nonna.

We went to the Walnut Festival on Sunday

It was 100 degrees on Sunday with very little shade around the carnival area. Nonetheless the kids had a lot fun.We ran into some friends- here Alex and Samuel are enjoying a thrill ride.
Exhaustion and delusions were setting in.

On the first video Mason's facial expression was shear agony/fear the whole way down- needless to say he is not interested in doing the slide again in this lifetime. The second video was later in the day after they had WAXED the slide (unknown to us). Paris and Alex were horrified by how fast they went down. The Lisi kids will not be doing fair slides for some time:)
